When I was little, I used to say my favorite color was glitter...
(Update: it still is.)
...Although my cousins insisted that 'glitter isn't a color.'
I've always been drawn to the visual side of life - from human expressions and perfectly balanced color palettes to the way landscapes take your breath away. I was that kid who couldn't stop doodling all over my class notes. When I discovered I could channel this creative motivation into a career path with graphic design, everything clicked. After graduating from Calvin College in 2019 with a BA in Graphic Design and minor in studio art/photography, I've balanced freelance projects with growing roles at HomeTeam Inspection Service, advancing from Digital Marketing Specialist to Brand Strategist.
My approach to my work is relational, authentic, and intentional. I love to work collaboratively and am always excited to help people with their creative communication, no matter how niche the subject. I am especially passionate about working with local businesses and small business owners, and I embrace any opportunity where I can use my skills to help their hard work and our community shine.
